I ordered a new EOS c7 side skirt. They sent me what is supposed to be their new re-version but the screw holes don't line up with the 2 factory screws. The first hole should be where the red circle is to match the factory hole. The pre-drilled hole is oval shape....why?
I am trying to get to the bottom of this with them. Don't place your order until this issue is resolved.
Common issue with after market side skirts and splitters. Especially at the cheaper end. Just adjust the hole and install. Takes a couple minutes with a rat tail file.

If it's off a little, I would do it. Look at the first hole, it is an inch off to the left. There is no way whatsoever to adjust. On their website and a few videos I saw online, the side skirt only has 1 hole. This new version has 2 holes that make no sense. I will be returning it.

My bad I misread that. I see what you mean now. I got mine from RPI Designs and the fit and finish is excellent. Good luck resolving this.
I have EOS side skirts and splitter and they have been great and they fit just fine. I think the cheaper ones are just fine and I wouldn’t want to spend much on these items since they can be damaged very easily. Expensive or cheap they all look the same to me.
I agree ACS is not cheap but really not that bad in price & this vendor here has to pre fit I have never got nothing from him that wasnt 100% right on..Plus great person to deal with also... Robert

Sorry your side skirts are not lining up as they should and can’t blame you for wanting to return them. I got mine from RPI and they fit very well with the exception Inhad to slightly enlarge the mounting hole in the front. No big deal and a minor adjustment.

Especially the Stage3 Front Splitter.

From all the reading and videos I read, it is a decent skirt. I have no clue why they changed the design from one mounting hole to 2 that doesn't line up. The top hole is off by a mile, it's not even possible to ghetto fix it.
I guess i can still mount it by using just the bottom hole since that one looks like it will match up. What were they thinking?
I would assume that 2nd hole would line up with that. It is completely off by a mile. No clue why they go from a working great 1 hole to a 2 hole setup that is not lined up with anything.
RPI sent me a two part plenum cover for my C5 sloppily divided, that does not close properly to make it look continuous, when the site depicts it a one part. I gave them too much trust and too much time to make it right. I sent the part(s) back to them and they will not refund. Now Capital One says too much time has passed and the closed the case. RPI now has my money and the part. All I can do is leave the story for others to ponder before hitting the "Place Order" button. I warn here on Capital One and RPI. Check RPI rep on BBB and a review site or two that I should have checked BEFORE. I should know better but, I suppose, I would rather have my trust occasionally betrayed than suspect everyone, but get over no-check-it-out carelessness.

I installed an EOS splitter with stage 2 winglets and ACS side skirts on my GF’s 19 Stingray. ACS quality is about as good as stock GM parts. The skirts lines up perfectly and the rivets provided were also quality. However, the EOS splitter was a pain in the *** to get lined up perfectly, I had to re drill many of the holes and the screws were cheap junk. Also, the side of the splitter had the be drilled to install the winglets. No template or measurements provided. I took my time and it came out good. Just took more time and effort than it should have. You get what you pay for.

I can imagine how frustrating it is. Now you have to send it back and wait even more time to get the correct item. I got my EOS side skirts delivered yesterday and did 1 side this morning. Mine only have 1 hole in the front. Weird how you got a different version for the same car. Mine fit very well and I'm sure you your replacements will work out. It will be worth it.
