A long-time friend of mine is working on a set of valve covers and a plenum cover for my 2017 Stingray. When I asked him to airbrush them for me he asked what I wanted on them...I told him "we have been friends for over 30 years, we served together in the USCG off and on for those 30 years, you know me as well as anyone else...Paint whatever you think represents me". He texted me what he has done so far. This guy is simply amazing with an airbrush in his hands. I cant wait to get the finished product on my Stingray! More pics to follow.

Beautiful, did you give it any thought to painting the middle white pieces red ,white and blue. I don't know how you would make them come out even. Just make them red and blue ?? Or is it why he kept them all white <

Love the way the flag came out - looks outstanding... I did two quick mock ups of what the plenum would look like painted... Im not so sure... Thoughts?

I'm thinking he is going to probably paint a mural on a bright white background. The white you see in the pic is just primer. If I were a betting man, I would bet the mural will be USCG Aviation themed. He told me it will be a surprise. I will definitely post pics of the finished product and also of them installed on my Stingray. Thanks for the compliments...I will show them with great pride at any and all events I go to!

IMHO, too busy with the additional color on the plenum. I would go with the unadorned white.
