Hey guys, per your advice I contacted Mike Furman at Criswell Chevrolet. He said that now that the C8's have started rolling off the assembly line again he expects dozens of C7 showing up on the lot as trade in's most with low mileage and I should be able to choose what Im looking for. Seems like a good guy just from the email correspondence. Im figuring late summer early fall before can find something. I would love to find something closer to SC but I will make the drive for the right car and price.

Mike can take care of you as he has done for many forum members. The forum is blessed with a number of very good supporting dealers. He may be right about nice, used C7 becoming available in early fall. If not then, probably won’t be much after that.
tHEY ARE 45 MINUTES FROM ME!! I had asked them to keep me in mind if they got one. Its a little more than I wanted to spend but damn it has everything I want!! CorvetteDNA says $49k. They are wanting $49.5. Whats a good starting offer?
That was my baby but I let dollar signs get in the way. I regret selling it every day. Its started life as a 350 automatic. The picture you see there its a 460 tremec 5 speed, full Vette Brakes and parts performance suspension, hydroboost brakes, Boyd Codington wheels and customized fiero seats. I built the car myself including paint. Took me 10 years. I will look for some digital pics. Oh and I did it from the help of this forum!!!!
Wade,
I bought my C7 Z06 and my current C7 ZR-1 from Mike. He really is a great guy. Once you get outside the greater D.C. area, it is a fairly scenic drive. If you prefer, I'm sure Mike can ship a corvette to your home.
I made a mistake corvettedna says $41750 but I doubt I get it for that! NADA says $46300 and certified $48750.
Too much money. Too old (2016) for the asking. I'd be in @ $41,750. Beautiful combination, loaded. The convertibles were a $5K option. It's rare however, getting ALL three.in one car; Z51/covertible/M7-stick.

Good news , after my little visit to a dealer yesterday to look at a 54K mile 2017 , I was going to contact Mike to per some recommendations in my post.

Did you call or email him ?
I emailed him. Very responsive each time. He had 2 appointments to see it yesterday and will let me know today if still available. The only problem is they dont take deposits to hold them. If its still available Im going to leave this afternoon or early tomorrow morning.

That seems reasonable. However I'd want to be the first one at Criswell Chevrolet when they opened Monday morning, since it's first come first served.
I purchased two new C7 Z06's from Mike. He's a class act and I will continue to purchase any future new corvettes from Mike. If I ever switch back to used corvettes again I will purchase those from Mike also. He's worth the wait effort etc etc to get a car from. He's a friend for life a great family guy, charitable although you won't hear about that as much as selling cars.
He's a much better man than I am. You wont go wrong buddy.
I bought a new 2017 Stingray from Mike Furman and then my girlfriend bought her 2019 Stingray from him. Not a bad guy to deal with at all. He deserves a shot at earning your business.
