Default C7 puddle light installation

I have a 2015 Corvette Stingray and want to install puddle LED lights. I have purchased the lights but am not understanding how the wires are routed from the door jam boot into the car. I have read the instructions a number of times but can’t get the picture of this as I look at my car. Unfortunately, the pictures with the instructions don’t help. I have also searched for a YouTube video but so far nothing specific to the C7. Any help that you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I do have the footwell lights installed.

Probably need a little more info to get some answers. What kinds of puddle lights? Who makes them? Where are they intended to be installed? Where does it say to tap power?

I know this advice might not help you but did you try youtube. I am not very "handy" but with youtube I have found many great videos that allowed me to do stuff.

Thanks for the post. Yes I have tried YouTube. Unfortunately there is nothing there regarding a C7 Corvette that I have found.

where the rubber boot that carries the wires from the car into the door connects to the door jam. They want you to pop the boot loose on the door jam side, run the wire through the hole and then reinstall the boot.
Is that the question you have or is it where to look on the inside of the car to locate where the wires pass through?

I think I would be more inclined to use a coat hanger from the inside of the car and poke a hole in the boot then pull the wires in to the car that way. Put a dab of rtv over the hole to keep any water out.
