ok one other question about the navigation
hey friends ,I have the elcheapo corvette ,its a 2017 base model ,and in guessing it has the basic radio in it ,I was trying to run the navigation thru my Iphone but it wouldnt work ,is it possible that I cant bring it up on the screen ? thanks guys! Bill

Are you connecting your iPhone via the USB port in the center console? Can you get Carplay to start on the radio?

Elcheapo and corvette are oxymorons-lol.
If you have an iPhone you can get whatever you get on your phone’s screen on you car screen, ie google maps.

I have given up on CarPlay since it's reliability has been a disappointment... Activates fine then drops off, comes back, drops off again... A recent iOS update was supposed to address the issue, but the performance on mine was only marginally more reliable... more hassle than it's worth for me...
