Check the inner rims for cracks/bends.

My '17 GS convertible has been flawless over the 3.5 years I've owned it.

No, in fact convertible C7s are much quieter than coups because they are better insulated.
Also surprising quite and little wind with top down.

(as pointed out above); some issues with the wheels cracking under less than demanding stress, the often stated concerns with the automatic tranny and that's about it for any potential faults occurring often enough to raise flags....

If GS you're considering has an A8 a Range Device is a must if it's doesn't already have one. The Range keeps from going onto V4 mode.

I have a 17 GS Vert as well. Best Vette I've owned so far... Smooth, powerful, fast, comfortable, sexy and reliable. On top of all that I get 30 MPG and the top up or down noise is alot less than any other Vert I've owned. The previous posts listed most of the "common" issues... Do your homework, get a CarFax, use Corvette DNA to ensure proper value/pricing and come here and ask questions when in doubt. Best of Luck!

I'm at 91K miles and when my top is up, the only noise is the radio. Solid as a rock

Be sitting down when your tire clerk quotes you a price on all four.

Great car.My 17 has 24k.Had my driver seat upper cover replaced. The bolster is not made well enough to handle rubbing entering and or exit.
Their was some panel fitting issues around the headlites.Paint was chipping off at the seams.Poor adjustment and paint prep I believe was the culprit.
Not sure your design rim? But the widebody's have had bending and cracking issue's.
GM Crap was a cast wheel.A pricey monoblock forged wheel in the aftermarket will let you sleep easy on a trip.

Bought mine last year, this is just a weekend car for me and the Mrs. We absolutely love it! It's a 2019.

The GS is a great car. Our 19 GS is our fourth convertible Vette (Previously owned a 69, 99 and 13 GS). It is by far the best one yet. I did bend the 3 wheels but had them straightened. The wider wheels are not the greatest but mine were bent because driving on I-70 in Colorado is like driving through a mine field. The holes are big enough to swallow a VW bug. I had no issues with the wheels before the trip last August and no issues with them after having them straightened when we got back. Other than that one less than stellar experience the car has been flawless.

No major issues with mine other than the cracked OEM wheels. Picked mine up last summer and have enjoyed it every second. I loved my C5 too, but this one os leaps and bounds better in every possible way. Ride quality, technology, power, noise (top up and down) is far less. My wife loves it too.

The wheels are a known problem as you know, I would get a Carfax & a GM vis to see some of the cars history, good luck!
