Dash light on

The dash light on my 2016 LT1 turned on .I was on my way to the dealer and the light turned off. Well its back on. The light is the car on the right side of the dash. Anyone give me a clue what that icon could be? Thanks to all that respond. Rod

A picture of your dash with the light on sure would help with an answer. That or simply look in your owner's manual and find the explanation of the light that is appearing.

I went out and checked mine. The only “car” icon I see is the one I circled. Is this what you’re asking about?

I found it

It is the malfunction icon.I guess I will be going to the agency.Thanks for the replies. They helped me locate the icon.It was in the owners manual, but I missed it.I guess I have to be more careful when I read the manual .Rod I took my car to the agency and found out the injectors need replacement.Left it there and they will call me when they are replaced.Gee,I only have 20000 miles on my car.

And "malfunction light" ? There are a handful of lights that illuminate due to a malfunction. Which light are you talking about? Do you mean the CEL?....Check Engine Light?

You are correct.The title for that light is:Malfunction Indicator Lamp.It was on and then it would go off.
