Red is my choice for your color of a car. It will make it pop and match the red calipers. That's what the hash marks are meant to do is to stand our and not blend it.
I tried them on my BS with red calipers. I didn't like them. I felt they "cheapened" the classy look of the car so I ended up taking them off. The black by itself was fine but I could see too many tiny bubbles and specs of dust I missed. The black shows everything so you need to really wet down the decal and the fender thoroughly. Then I tried the red outline.eh.. wasn't feeling the look so I peeled them off and tossed them in the garbage.
Shadow gray C7, Grand Sport, black interior, chrome wheels, red calipers. Considering putting hash marks on front fenders. Color choice is tough. Thinking carbon flash. Red would match calipers but a bit too flashy. Suggestions?
Hash marks. Thank you all for your responses. Great comments and comparisons.
Almost bought this SG car, not sure if they were Yellow or Hyper Green as those colors look very close, ended up buying a SG car with no hash stripes (heritage package) so debating on adding them as well. I have had good luck with Phoenix Graphics on other cars in the past and been thinking of the yellow or hyper green. I also looked at a SG car with carbon flash hash stripes as well that looked good with the satin black stinger, unfortunately no pic.'s of that one. Decisions.
I loved the hash marks on my C6 GS but passed on them for my current C7 GS. To my eye they made the fender on the C7 a bit too crowded but I think you should get them if you are so inclined.

With all do respect not sure anybody is here to make their car historically accurate...we just try and add a this or that that speaks to our individual tastes and likes and sure we want others to appreciated it as well. I think for the investment it adds a smidge of color and individuality.
