Default GS vs Z06

Yes Z is faster on straight away but... when I was at Spring Mountain they put me and my GS with 3 Zs. Yes they pulled away some on the straights but I caught them in the turns but no passing was allowed. Sure the Z drivers may have been not as aggressive but they were not pulling away from me in the turns.

Had a 2016 Hellcat Charger and sold it for the 2019 Z06. Obviously different cars, the Hellcat being a 4500lb boat going down the road but it did it quickly and comfortably. The Z is considerably more 'intense' than the Hellcat. The experience is more visceral, the noise, the seating position, the exhaust note, everything. I am very happy with my trade and I think if you added a Z, you would be as well.

Either way, nice choices and nice garage, that's my next upgrade! I need more space for toys

I test drove the Jaguar and loved it although the back end was quick to become unstable but I wouldn’t buy it due to the reliability and depreciation. I own a 2019 Z06 10k miles and love it. It’s not to much power for me and is easy to drive. The interior is a Chevy and not luxurious but the performance is great. I think the Vette is the best looking my 2 cents….. resale value is almost what I paid 6 years ago

Any way to have both?

When I got my C7, I kept my 14' Camaro with the LS3.

I bought another one since my last post (2020) - 2018 Mr Norm Wildcat. Wide body handles better than the wife's narrow body but our C7 GS still my favorite car.........

Out of those, I'd buy the LC500 if I was you, if your priority is the looks. Z06 only looks good when it's going fast IMO.

I've upgraded since my last post as well. I bought this.one new back in August 2022. It's a Redeye Jailbreak putting out 807bhp with 705 torque. I traded the 2017 that I bought new.

If there is one thing, and perhaps this was said, that people who come from other "Big V8" cars complain about the Corvette its the relatively muted exhaust note. With an X-Pipe it wakes up some, and its enough for me. But if you REALLY like the BRAP BRAP of a Dodge V8, you will be disappointed. Mustang and Camaro owners even to some degree.
