My throttle body and controller just arrived today. Should I install both at the same time? Nothing in the instructions. Thanks.

Default Soler throttle body

Do the install on the TB first. Follow the instructions. Once the TB has been installed then do the TC. Both installs are easy.

I'd want to know the change from each one separately. TB first, then the controller. But we'll see how I feel when I get mine. Might want to just get them both done. Check back in with your progress.

You can install both and set the controller for OEM throttle response. This lets you test the changes made by the throttle body alone. Then dial in the throttle controller map of your choice.

That said, I prefer one mod at a time. This allows me to more easily track down any problem which may occur.

Suggest doing the TB first and drive it long enough to know it has no problems then adding the TC. If both are installed at the same time and a glitch pops up, tracking down which unit isn't playing well becomes more challenging.

Nice! When did you order? I also ordered a TB and controller (8/14) and my tracking history keeps saying "In Transit, Arriving Late" and hasn't moved since the 15th?

I ordered the evening of the 13th. The post office is the weak link!

Agree with others. Install TB first for reasons mentioned (and OEM setting on TC if wanted) to allow ECM to recal to the new TB. I know on mine after 50-60 miles, it got smoother and smoother. Just ordered the TC yesterday myself - cant wait. Had a TC on my C6 and it was amazing.

I only purchased the controller. Plenty of additional responsiveness from that alone. In a ahort time, I have found that my seeet spot is between SP.5 and SP.7.

These two items will most likely be some of my next round of mods. Nothing but good stories about their performance.
