Starter problem
I recently purchased a new 2019 Stingray A8. Occasionally, when starting, it will crank for a second or two then hesitate for a split second and then start cranking again until the engine starts. Fortunately this is a rare occurrence but I am concerned that it may be a starter issue. I previously owned a C6 so I am familiar with push button ignition. Any info on this would be appreciated.

Do you know how long the car sat on the dealer lot before you purchased it? I can bet that the battery went dead at least once it if sat more than a couple of months without being driven. It could be compromised and may not last much longer. I have not heard of your issue before but most electronic glitches can be traced back to the battery or a bad ground.
