Cant get the mice from nesting in My C7 cabin air filter and on top of the intake WTF i drive it maybe once every two weeks concrete garage
Any thing less then getting a cat suggestions
Block any holes in your garage that a mouse can fit through. Set some traps in case they get in. There are sheet metal boxes that don't need bate. You can take them to a field and dump them out live. No mess.
Get one of these. about $25 uses 2 "C" batteries.
Had mice getting on top of my Truck engine parked outside leaving food scraps..
Wire tied one of these under the hood and haven't had another hint of mice
for the last 5 months.
Also put one in house attic and have had the same great results.
Never had a mice problem, but have read on here several times that Bounce scented dryer sheets are a non-lethal approach, however, there are countless other products in the aislesof Home Depot, Lowe’s etc.
Sounds like you've tried the typical remedies/deterrents. Have you contacted an exterminator? Might be $150>$300 but better than risking serious damage to a $70,000 sportscar.
We used to have problems with chipmunks and mice. Solution:
Keep garage doors closed except when needed.
Plug any holes for rodents to enter.
Set multiple traps; I just use the Large size glue traps and replace a couple of times per year if no "customers".
Leave engine hood fully open when parked- rodents don't like brightness.
Leave a light shining into the engine area.
Two Tupperware containers with holes in lids, full of moth *****, one under each end of car. Replace every 3 months.
No rodents of any kind for last 10 years.
Plug the openings on the sides of the garage doors with steel wool. Get some glue traps and put them on each side of the garage door INSIDE of the house. And the pest control companies have the outdoor black boxes that the mice go in and then take the bait to the nest and die. Very effective.

Probably the best advice ever. My neighbors keep their garage doors open all day. Obviously they never had a corvette in their garage. Mine is always closed unless I'm out there working.
Whenever we've had a mouse problem, we use good old standby, mouse traps. We use the most odoriffic cheese we can find. Others use peanut butter. Rarely, a mouse gets the bait and doesn't get caught but almost always, they get caught in the trap. I tried the stick paper trap. The mouse ate the bait, left some hair on the trap and took off.

I put Bounce dryer sheets inside the car and in the engine bay. I also have one of those sonic devices in the garage. Never have had a problem with mice.
Using mothballs and Irish Spring soap are good alternatives too, as is old fashioned traps with either peanut butter or cheese. And of course, keeping the garage door shut is really a good idea.
Totally agree. I think the moth *****, soap, and dryer sheets are just a myth. Plug small holes, keep garage door closed. Keep a trap inside for proactive measures.
