If you get the automatic car, order a Range device the week prior.
The transmissions are so equally matched these days. Neither has any pros or cons that outweigh the other. Get the important options checked off...the transmission piece is trivial these days.
Ooops...Did I just type that...?
Seriously, I don't think you can go wrong either way.
By most accounts less than 5% of A8s had issues and using a range devise and the triple-flush procedure if issues develops reduces risks substantially.
And it's certainly not like the M7s are issue free.
As stated above, you should be fine with either.

Thank you so much!
Seems like pretty many of other vehicles(CTS, ATS, Silverado, Camaro SS.. etc) have A8 tranny for me. That's why i was worried about it.
I think i've heard that M7 wants to go "N" gear when you shift somewhere to 2nd gear?
bit surprised and sad M7 isn't issue free.
Could you let me know what's the issue of M7?

The M7 is a good transmission as is the A8, and yes I've seen the issue you mention above. Search the forum and you will find others. But I wouldn't worry about either. Get the transmission you feel most comfortable with.

Range device has nothing to do with the shudder... the trans pulses the tcc no matter what. It would have NEVER BEEN A PROBLEM if GM figured out the original fluid had hygroscopic tendencies. And then the fluid 2.0 was STILL retaining moisture but was better. The moisture between the tcc caused that sensation because it was not the correct viscosity and trans fluid and water don't work well together.
The newest fluid post Feb 1 2019 builds or flushed after that with the latest version is the way to go.
I just provided similar information to a C7 ZR1 owner in a thread in that section. He has the shudder in his 2019 ZR1 (probably built before Feb 2019). And that isn't the first C7 ZR1 to have shudder. They DON'T USE AFM.
