What hardware do you use to install a front splitter? Rivets the best? If so, what kind, size, etc. Special tool needed, maybe get as a kit from somewhere? Thanks.

I went with @C7 Carbon L2 Splitter, that I attached with a combination of the original screws/bolts,
Rivets and screws are needed. I got my front splitter off Amazon and it came with all the rivets I needed, I just reused the screws holding my stock one... It will look like this when your done:
if you go the rivet route, which I would recommend, be sure to use tri-fold rivets. This route would require a rivet gun. Harbor Freight carries these pretty cheap.
Lastly would be a a drill and a 3/16 bit to drill holes if needed.

Ok, I learned something today. So in my case since I damaged my splitter on my car and got it repaired and purchased a new GM splitter that should be called "the super duper stupid expensive" splitter.
Those rivets, do you have to drill the heads off to remove them?
Yes - I drilled most of them out with a small drill bit. Some started to spin as I got into the rivet...so I just used a very thin flathead screwdriver and tapped it sideways with a hammer till it snapped the head off.
To remove the factory rivet, just hold the drill bit on a 45 degree angle in the centre of the rivet, this was the rivet head doesn’t get stuck on the drill bit. Instead, the head just falls off.

I just did this today. I used a similar trick but swiveled the drill bit around in a circle and got the same result. Just don't drill straight on. That's when they catch and spin. You can grab the head with a needle nose if it starts to spin. That little slot they mold next to the hole help with that, and to pry under it. I did not opt to re-use those rivets when I replaced my poverty splitter. I used these 8mm nylon scrivets from NAPA. Had to drill the holes out a little larger but they are heavy duty. Last time I will have to drill out aluminum rivets. Very messy.
