Tread wear (i.e., remaining depth), absence of any plugs/patches. and date code are keys in establishing the value of used tires.
Only 2300 miles,never tracked/raced...
I’ll check date code shortly, coming off 2017 GS
Tread depth remaining in each of the major tread grooves determines wear. Miles not so much. A lot of bad wear can occur in 2300 miles of street driving. If these were the original tires on your car I imagine the date codes are somewhere between mid 206 and mid 2017. It depends on when the car was built. The tires are usually produced a few weeks before the car is assembled.

I noticed last week tire rack has the M AS3+ on closeout,
Is that tire discontinued? Hope not

not sure where date code is on the tire, but maybe this is it? "2616"?
I have no way to measure tread depth....but if a gentleman who owned this car for 4 years. And only 2300 miles, never seen rain, or winter, I'm sure plenty of tread left...,

now what????
Not sure, but there's been a lot of thrash about Michelin OEM tire availability. The outcome of that was that the OEM tires are still available, under different part/item number(s), but in limited quantities (potentially due to production schedules and/or COVID-related shutdown/shipping impacts.) The A/S3+ could be similarly affected, or it could actually be phasing out in favor of the new A/S4. @Discount Tire is pretty responsive to questions like this.

The local Discount Tire is my go to, as they're usually less expensive, match competitor pricing when they're not, and offer a non-prorated road hazard warranty.

That means they were made in the 26th week of 2016, so they're a little over 4 years old. GLWS!
If you can't get a accurate measurement of tread depth with a gauge, i would post some pictures of the tread. I bought a 2016 z06 with these tires and they were at the wear bars with just 9k miles.
