I have a question, when driving with the top on do you get a little bit more noise coming into the cabin? I just recently got a roof from another member here and put it on my ZR1 and today I went for a drive. Today was a tad windy and depending on the direction I was driving I did hear some wind noise but all in all it was quiet and don't have any squeaks or rattles from this top. With the regular exposed CF roof I don't hear anything from outside when driving my car easy and normally.
This top I bought came from a ZR1 that was purchased used by the seller, car had the dual roof option and seller didn't want the roof so I got it off him.
I use my Transparent top is on almost all of the time. I don't notice any major different amount of outside noise using transparent top could be that I'm just use to it and don't notice it anymore. But I'm sure my painted top with quilted liner would be quieter for sure ! I might have to put painted top on car and compare it's been awhile sense that top has been on car.

I also have the dual roof option with my Z06. I drive with the solid/painted roof on 90% of the time, but switch to the transparent top during the Florida winter months when the sun is not so high in the sky and beating down on me.
I noticed immediately that the cabin tended to be louder when I was using the transparent top. I think it has to do with the sound echoing more with the transparent top as the 3LZ quilted liner on the painted top absorbs more sound and the cabin overall feels tighter.
The suction cup roof liner for the transparent top mitigates the noise. So if you don't want to swap out the transparent top for the matching color top you can just use the roof liner for the transparent one.
All I hear is the engine and supercharger, even if the regular top would cut some of it down I wouldn't change a thing. I see palm trees in my neighborhood when I look up.. It brings me back to my Miami vice days
I find my Stingray to be quieter with the insulated roof, so I prefer it on long trips. I used to enjoy driving in town with the transparent top, but with the pandemic, I really don’t drive much in town.
The glass top "dropped" right on and latched up with no issue, my OE top when I first removed it and put it back on was a bit of a struggle and I had the GF help me put it back on (I removed it myself). I was also a bit paranoid with the OE top as I have never done that so being super careful and stuff, even the front latches felt like it needed a bit of force to fold back forward to latch it
She was out in the garage with me when I dropped the glass top on and even she mentioned it was too easy compared to putting the regular top on. Are there adjustments for the tops so they latch better/tighter?
Like I said, I don't have any rattles/squeaks from this top and other than slightly more noticeable noise (which I figured would be the case with the glass roof) it seems to fit fine.
