Default C7 Side Skirt question

I have a Torch Red 2017 Stingray. I would like to add the Side skirts, but need some advice on which ones to get. Are the Grand Sport and ZO6 the same? I really like the look of those, but see several others out there as well. Can I get some pics of what you have and recommend? I am leaning towards Carbon Fiber or get them in primer and paint them Torch Red to match.

Also, I can't decide if I want to add the Front Splitter.....any input on that would be appreciated as well!

Thanks!

Following. I just got a 2016 Torch Red as well. Looking to add the side skirts and stage 2 splitter.

I had a 2017 GS with the Z07 package. It had the full length skirts that had the "tuck back" just past the rear of the door. The tuck back really didn't make it any easier for ingress egress and after seeing a REAL C7.R in the flesh, fell for the full length look without the tuck.
Anyway, last Spring I bought a new 2019 Z06 vert(which comes with the 3/4 length skirts if you don't have Z07) and chose to install the ACS Zero1 full length side skirts. I love the look and other owners have also noticed them. No harder to get in/out than the Z07 type for me. Obviously these are not as wide as the race car ones, but I have seen no paint damage on the lower brake cooler scoops so they may help a bit in that area.

ETA, I now have a Stage 2 splitter that will go on over the winter.

I put the EOS "Z06 style" side skirts on my Z51

One thing to keep in mind regarding the front splitter - it tends to take abuse so budget accordingly.

Go for it! It will help keep those fat sticky tires from throwing rocks at the side of you car. If you add the front splitter you will have to watch some drives and dips in the road not to mention tire curbs in parking lots. I have 90K on mine; got a few little rock dings that nobody sees but me.

Enjoy the ride.

Will add that full length or 3/4 length side skirts is your preference. We got the full length from RPI & very happy with them. In addition, installed the poverty splitter, & again very happy with this choice. Like many things, your call.

For my 2014, I bought the Z06 style side skirts from RPI Designs - fit well and look good, but took a while to get. I went with a GM poverty splitter on the front of the car, mainly due to concerns about getting in/out of my driveway. If you have no worries about that, then I would probably go with a step up in the splitter to look more aggressive.

'14 torch red Z51 1LT 7MT conv; I went with stage one splitter and side skirts for the obvious reason, price (all three pieces for a little over 300 bucks genuine GM) and so I need to be concerned about a car that is already pretty low. Don't want to have to fret every bump, surface imperfections, etc. Added non carbon fiber Z06 grill as well (again, a little over 100 bucks but needed to pull off the front clip to install).

Added these Z06 style from RPI/Southern Car Parts a few years ago. They look great and the price was excellent.

I also suggest you add splash guards such as these: https://acscomposite.com/collections...n-start-up-kit. They are wider and extend lower than the stock guards and will do a better job protecting your rocker panels and also the leading edge of your side skirt (which stock guards won't do).

I have the full length skirts. There are a lot of options... shapes, sizes, material types, attachment options, etc.:

hey. So I have the full length side skirts on my 2017 z51 and recently added the ZO6 grill and poverty splitter. Love it all. Getting close to the exact look I was going for.

Do you have a link where you picked up the splitter and side skirts? Or possibly the part numbers?

Thanks

My side skirts and grill came from EOS. The splitter too maybe. Look on eBay. Figured the front splitter and side skirts were likely to get damaged at some point anyways. I buy a car to drive not show. Not abuse but stuff happens. So go figure scraped the hell outta the side skirt. Geez. Just my 2 cents

Had a great experience with @ACS Composite last seek. Was fortunate enough to be local to them and was able to see first hand the quality of their products. They were able to guide me making the right decision. Went with stage 2 Z06 and C7 rockers, no clearance issue. Love the look.
