Moved the Z06 some miles away to a friend's place a couple of days ago because I thought this might happen. It's safe, we're not yet. (Bobcat fire, San Gabriel Valley, Calif.)

I can smell the fire from my house and the ashes are all over southern Cal. Ca ,Oregon, and Washington are hurting big time with these fires. Stay safe.

I lived in Southern California for 10 years before I retired. I thought that during those years (1986 - 1997) that I had seen some fires. One year there was so much ash that got into my swimming pool that it etched the plaster. I had to have the pool drained and acid washed to get the stains out. But compared to this, I hadn't seen anything. Really feel for my Calif. friends, and all who are in peril there. Hope and pray for all of you.

Stay safe - prayers sent that the firefighters get the fires under control and that the homes are not damaged/destroyed.

It sucks that California still tries to simply blame this on climate change while simultaneously ignoring their very own forest professionals. Foresters in CA have been screaming for decades on exactly what needs to be done to prevent this but have been ignored to 'protect' the environment. It's horrible people like you have to go through this.... and even more so for the Firefighters who's lives are put at risk on purpose. It's gotten so bad I am not sure it is fixable at this point even with 180 degree change in their forest management. Good luck and stay safe. Hoping you have as minimum of an impact as possible.
