I’ve had XO Veronas in the past. As mentioned, they are rotary “forged” which isn’t forged at all. The rears bent fairly quickly and made the most heinous noise. So my next set are mono-block forged from BC Forged.(pictured here)
Turns out 3 of 4 are slightly bend causing a tiny hop feeling on a smooth road. I really thought true forged wheels were close to immune from bending. I haven’t even hit any significant potholes either. Pretty expensive lesson learned.

Your current wheels are mono-block forged from BC Forged, or that's what your next set will be?
Either way, fully forged wheels are inherently stronger for the same weight, but did the wheel designer use that strength instead to make the wheels lighter? Or stronger in areas that don't really matter? Either way, fully forged is not a guarantee of being "strong enough." I know at least two people who bent their expensive fully forged wheels on C7 widebody cars.
Of course, the bombed out roads of the Midwest can destroy any wheel.

I went with HRE RS207M Forged Monobloks, in a close approximation of Carbon Flash, after reading too many stories about OEM wheels bending and cracking. I have no regrets.
Yep. Slightly. I had them balanced recently at Discount Tire and they showed me where my tiny wheel hop was coming from. I did some reading and found just because they’re forged doesn’t mean they can’t bend.
