Default Soler Throttle Controller And Range Technology AFM combo

I did a search on the forum and only saw one member that had the combo, but he also had the throttle body update.

anyone that has done this combo without the throttle body upgrade?

just got the range afm, and thinking about the soler throttle controller as well.

I have the Vitesse Throttle Controller and the Range in my 17 GS. Would not be without either.

I also had the Vitesse in my C6 GS. Nover an issue in either car.

The these two components do entirely different things and have no impact on each other.

Keep in mind the Range unit only prevents the engine from going into V4 mode. It does not add power, change fuel mapping, or do anything else whatsoever.

The throttle control only changes how the engine perceives foot feed input. That is, it only does what you could do with your foot if you were remarkably skilled with your foot.

Have the range device and just ordered the Soler TC yesterday. Eventually will add the Soler TB.

Thank you for the feedback.

Just wanted to know if there possible issues.

I’ll be ordering the controller after hurricane sally passes. It looks like they were affected by the storm from their website.

wishing them the best 🙏🏻

I have both device now installed.
holy crap the soler throttle controller is awesome.

running it on manual is very addicting and just insane.

I see the performance shift mode toggled more often, but damn, the improvement on the throttle response is insane.

no more v4 mode, snappy throttle response

I have all three and love the performance difference...at least by "seat of the pants" anyways. Range AFM device, Soler TB and Soler TC. Not sure if that helps you OP.

I agree. Different products that do different things to the car.

I have all Three also....
I love the Range for not putting my car in V4 mode and the fact the minimizes Torques Converter issues notorious in A8s
I also love the Soler Throttle Control, it acts the same as my Vitesse in my C6, makes the throttle much more responsive.
I'm so-so on the Ported Throttle Body, I see no difference with it, of course having an automatic, I never had the off idle stumble and bog some manual owners report
