Default 2014 Base Stingray value??

Hi,

I've had my heart set on a z51 14' Vette but I've seen some very aggressive priced base models.
I'm coming from a c5z so I hoping the difference is substantial as it's a 12 year difference in technology.

Looking at a base (1LT) 14' Vette ( 7-spd ) with 28k miles for $36k is near perfect shape. How does this sound?

Thanks in advance.

What do you mean by base model?

FWIW, I bought my 2014 Z51 3LT 7MT Convertible Stingray w/29.7k miles and w/Magnetic Ride Control and the Performance Exhaust for $38.5k.

Not in perfect shape. Needed an oil change (dealer did it), new tires and brake pads/rotors (I did it for $3k) and it has some body/interior dings that still need fixing (another $2.5k). Worth the price to me.

Sounds like you got a very nice deal. I'm looking at a 1LT model.

Default Sounds Reasonable

After lots of looking, I just bought a 15 Z-51, 3LT with magnetic shocks for $45K. 11K miles in excellent shape. Your 14seems like a fair price to me. Good luck.

Everyone will have an oppinion on what's a good deal. I think if your OK with it it's you that has to deal with it. I purchased my 14' Laguna Blue 3LT Z51 7 Sp Convertible with Mag ride one owner with 19K on it for 43,000 out the dealers door. I am very happy with that price. Car was mint and even had a professional Ceramic Coating on it.

For comparison I bought a NEW '19 base Stingray(1LT) auto trans and painted black wheels were the only options for $46,000.back in Dec. when incentives were at there peak.

Seems like a decent deal to me. Prices for C7s have increased in recent months.

Based on the used car market right now that is a fair price.
