Trying to trouble shoot 2017 Grand Sport Convertible with 6800 miles on it: Pulled into the garage last night and top went all the way up, slightly touched down on the windshield then stopped working. Tonneau still partially up and got them message "manual closure only." Went through the procedure in the manual. The clips in the trunk are intact, the windows have been indexed, and I tried disconnecting and connecting the battery. When I manually close the top all the way under the Tonneau and manually close that as well, then the top will go almost all the way up and then stop short of locking down. I also tried holding the convertible top button on the dash for several minutes as some suggest to reset but no luck. The engine was running so I don't believe it is the battery.
I am thinking that it is not a fuse because the top moves partially. Does anyone have any tricks up their sleeve to get this working so that I don't have to take it to the dealer? Thank you! KH
2014 with a new computer I have gone through this 2 times in the last 2 weeks... Both in exactly the same spot right when it hits the top of the windshield where normally it will lock... both times did exactly like yours.. It is at the dealership right now as that is the only way it will be able to work again... last night when it did it I was stationary in the driveway, the first time I was moving about 3 to 4 mph...
Mine never did this until my old top controller died about a month ago and was replaced with a new one and reprogrammed... this new computer and program are having this problem so not sure what is going on...
Have you had yours reprogrammed or taken to the dealer in the last 6 months?
I have not taken it to the dealer before as I just bought this about 2 weeks ago from Corvette World in Dallas. Worked well until last night. I will keep you posted as to the saga. Thank you for responding and letting me know you had a similar issue. Kevin

There is a sensor on the partition in the trunk. Make sure its clipped in the up position. When it's in the down position it keeps the top from moving. Worth a look.
***EDIT*** Just saw that you checked the clips. Sorry.
