I had a 2014 CGM Z51 coupe that I drove over 50,000 miles which I traded in on a Silverado. I found a nice 2004 Z06 CE that I loved and put on over 25,000 miles in two years but, I missed the power, modern electronics and comfort of the C7. A couple of weeks ago I found a beautiful Admiral blue 2LT, Z51 and we took off for Deals Gap. Its good to be back.
I've been thinking about an 03 also; always loved the FRC. Can you share any details about likes and dislikes? Probably won't sell my c7 but would like to add to the stable.
thanks

I've had four C5's over the years, two were Z06's. First of all are the good looks of the car, among my favorite of all generations, The C5 has less power than the C7, particularly in the Z06 models but, I think the C5 has a more seat of the pants feel. The C5 is cheaper to maintain, especially the tires. OEM parts can be a problem particularly with the earlier models, 97 to 99. Many vendors offer tons of third party mods and upgrades, I think that with the long model run (1997-2004) every problem has been diagnosed and discussed in the C5 forum. C5's are relatively cheep now with many cars available. The downside of the C5 is, as has been well discussed, the cheap interior. If I had the room there would be a C5 in my garage.
