You’ll get more bumps and bruises. It’s a car. It’s fine. Live with it. Next time don’t back up into anything. If it really bothers you then go to a body shop.
When I got my first crack in my splitter I flipped **** for about 3 minutes. Then I got back into the driver seat and kept going. Now I have chips and scratches. Reminds me that I actually drive the car and it’s inevitable (and I’m super careful with it too)
Seems that it really bothers you, it would me.
Contact your local Corvette club and get recommendations on good body/paint shops in your area and check on getting it properly fixed.
Someone banged a door against my Tacoma fender flair and it left a nice little gash in the plastic/paint. Took it to my paint guy but had concerns as it's high metallic sliver (similar to Blade silver) and difficult to match.
Took a day and a half and $191 and I had a totally un-detectable repair.
You can touch it up, but you will always be able to see it.
That would bother me too. Here's what I do with blemishes. I rub spit on it (or water) to see if the metallic shows. If it does, you need DuPont clear to cover the marks. The clear will hide it and bring it back up to level. If you don't see the metallic show through spit or water you will need a touch up. You can try it yourself with oem touchup or run it by your local Chevy dealer and have them look at it. It doesn't loook like that can be "rubbed" or "buffed" out with an orbital but you could try a microfiber cloth with 3M glaze or a polish to see if you can most of it out, for the time being.
Why not try the repair yourself first? He may be able to get most of that out by rubbing it out with a glaze or polish. Everyone is so scared to work on their own cars. It's ridiculous.

Either try some touch up paint or have a body shop fix it for you. Not many other choices other than just living with it. Driving the car will get you some chips/scrapes on occasion.
I can understand being upset a bit, but things happen and can be fixed.

Doctor Color Chip is simply amazing buy the kit follow instructions and believe me it will blend perfectly and you'll never know it was ever there. Just be patient and use correctly, awesome products. They have all of the Corvette OEM Colors

My GM Blade Silver touch up paint was a closer match to my '18 Silver Sky Metallic Tacoma than the Silver Sky Metallic that Dr Color Chip sent me for 1/2 oz at $28. No more Dr Color Chip for me.
At first I said the same. I think what you are seeing is a photo with and insert included. The insert is a very slightly zoomed photo of the original. That's my take.
