Default range and window valet

Wondering if you can use the Range AFM disabler and the Window Valet, simultaneously, by using an OBD 2 splitter, 2 in to 1 pigtail. Currently have the Range and am happy with it but wouldn't mind being able to remotely open and close windows without having to switch OBD devices. It would be nice not to choose one over the other. Sorry if this has been addressed but nothing pooped up in a forum search.
thanks,
Mike

Check out this thread https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...light=Obd+port starting at post 47. There is some discussion about using the Range Device and another component at the same time on the OBDII port.

There may be other threads out there - I just used the term “OBD port” in the search box and came up with a lot of hits, but you kind of have to just click on the results and see what is in the thread.

Have they ever released a window valet for the 2017+ models? I have one in my C5 and like it and would like to add one to the C7Z but read earlier that the later model C7s require a new window valet.

The newer vettes do indeed require a newer model of the Window Valet.

I have a '15 and I did get the Window Valet and Range to work with a OBD2 splitter. But I recall I did have an issue and while the Range worked just fine, the Window Valet did not. I managed to get it working but I don't remember if I had to use a different splitter cable or what I did to get it working. Sorry. But it is possible to get them to coexist.

Thanks everyone, I'll keep researching. If anyone has done it, and remembers the nuance of making them both work simultaneously, feel free to chime in. Also, interested if the Window Valet and the Range simultaneously add an unacceptable battery drain. I know the Range 8.6 software mitigated the battery issue, just wondering if anyone has any real life experience with this combination.
thanks,
MIke

No battery issue at all with the combo, just make sure you have the Range 8.6.

I do leave the car on a trickle charger, as I often leave it sitting for weeks.
