Underneath the license plate fascia.For the first time, I would look underneath with a flashlight to find it. Once you know where it is, it is easy to reach with your finger and find it. Put the key in and pull the keys tail toward you. The door releases are on each side of the car.
For some reason, which is stupid, they did not put a mechanical release for the gas tank cover!

C7s also do not have a manual release for the gas tank cover.
There's a lot going on above the rear license plate. Left to right, you're looking at the rear view camera, the hatch release button, the license plate lamp, and finally, circled for your viewing pleasure, the keyhole.
And just to clarify, what looks like a second keyhole below the circled one is just a reflection on the black rear fascia.

Catfish4818 - nice pic showing the location of the key slot for the trunk. And it is strange that no secondary, manual release was included for the gas lid.
OP says that he has not purchased the car yet so he does not have the OM. He can however view it online to familiarize himself with the many features of the C7. I solved my gas door by putting a body panel plastic plug in the hole on the gas door. It will not lock.
