This is the one I used. Our own forum member Ozzstar. Pay special attention at 3:26 where he says how to warm the car up for the oil change and how to properly check the oil level.

I found that warming up the car is a unnecessary. It wastes gas and puts more wear and tear on cold starting the engine. I will pull both drain plugs and filter on a cold engine and just leave the vehicle draining for about 4 hours, Doing it this way will get every last drop of oil in the engine. I have checked the oil level after replacing the oil and have found it will take every drop of the 9.8 qts that GM recommends for the LT1. Two tips I highly recommend is too take off the oil fill cap before you start the oil removal process. Leave the cap off for the entire process. This will make it easier for the oil to flow during the draining process. Also, preload the new oil filter with oil before you reinstall the new oil filter. This will aid in getting the oil flowing quicker through the engine on the cold start.
I'm looking for regular c7 NON-dry sump. doesn't the grand sport have a dry sump system?
Yep. Draining oil is not rocket science. Sting ray and GS use same oil, it just uses slightly less of it (7 qts versus 9.8). The GS has one additional drain plug than does the Sting ray.
Get it up while warm if you can do it, if not just drain it longer. You only have 1 plug to remove. Swap out the filter with the correct one. Put the plug back in. Fill it with the correct amount of oil and you're done.
