Mode selection issue

Anybody experienced mode selector not wanting too change modes. Im stuck in tour mode move **** around but wont change to other modes. Any tips would be appreciated thanks. 2014 c7 A6

It happen to me once, I removed the negative battery terminal, let it sit over night and the next morning everything was back to normal. Hope this helps.

"Rebooting" is an easy start (as noted) for any computerized system. All the best.

Would hope that a computer reboot would do the trick. If not, may be time to get it checked out by a Tech.

Tried disconnecting battery doesnt seem to be the trick and now my A/C stopped blowing. Compressor turns on but wont blow any hot or cold air. Dropping car off today too get checked out see what it can be

Sounds like it has other issues... but my '14 occasionally appears to be stuck in Tour, but what has really happened is Link-to-Drive mode has turned off for no reason. So the modes change (steering / suspension / exhaust) but the dash display itself doesn't update. I just manually put Link-to-Drive back on, switch modes again and everything is fine.

As you have a '14 I have to still ask the obvious. If it's on the original battery I would change even if you get battery checked & says OK. Many "gremlins" occur due to weak battery in our computer run cars. Also, seem to have read here, that the high amp draw items like HVAC equipment won't run to protect battery if it's low. JMHO

Disconnected blower motor from under passenger dash and connected back that fixed the ac issue, now just going to do a full diagnostics check too see what is wrong with it not wanting to change modes im stuck in touring mode only
