I use Pentosin DOT4 LV in my '14 Z51 that sees track time. I use the Ranger method to flush it every other oil change. I tends to be slightly discolored but not that bad.
Clutch fluid doesn't have to handle the heat like brake fluid does; Dot 3 will work fine for clutch use.....in fact it's a little better because the higher the fluid temp, the faster it will absorb water. I always change the clutch when changing oil so it stays fresh; this way it never has time to collect clutch dust and turn black.

Enjoy the ride.
I agree with much of what you said, but would appreciate further explanation of "Dot 3... it's a little better because the higher the fluid temp, the faster it will absorb water."
ATE Type 200 is a great DOT4 fluid. High boiling temp and known for absorbing moisture much more slowly than many other fluids. Available for a very fair price from Tire Rack.
ATE SL brake fluid? I am not familiar with this version. The Type 200 worked great in my 14 Mustang GT. Over 50 track events and never had a soft brake pedal. I changed the fluid once in the spring and used it for the entire season. Was always crystal clear the next year and I routinely melted the high temperature silicone dust seals on the caliper pistons. I now use this on on everything with excellent results.
