I have, what I believe are, 2014 C7 wheels on my C5. They were painted prior to my purchase the “C7 gray” but I now see several possible colors. The color matches the center cap in the attached photo. Could anyone confirm what color I have? I have a few rock chips that need touching up. Thanks!
Sure looks exactly like “Shark Gray” (G1B) that is on my C7. This color is also know as “Fusion Gray” (paint code -WA400Y G1B) on last couple of years option for Cadillacs.
this is the color grey on all C7 wheel caps...at least for base and Z51,
I don't think the wheel cap color correlates at all to any of the grey body paint color codes.
Just bring it into a paint supply shop and they can easily match it
OP, you can spend a lot of time searching and here's what you'll find, it doesn't match ANY C7 color. I own a Cyber Gray car. If you eyeball the caps while on the wheels, you'd swear it's a match to Cyber Gray. If you hold the cap next to the body, ( I did) it's not even close. Of the dark grays, Cyber is the closest. It's not going to match Shark Gray which has a hint of brown in it. Ceramic matrix will probably be too light.
You're better off taking a cap to an autoparts store and trying to match it to dupli-color bottles or take it to a paint shop and try to match it to a swatch.
