It looks lowered and has Michelin decals on the back tires (unless its a reflection). Looks like an enthusiast. Crazy someone would do this and unsafe.

Here's our C6 a few years ago, we also have a similar dresser in the trunk pic of our C7 early this year.
Lots of padding and bungees for the trunk lid work well, never any damage for us.
But I wouldn't put anything heavy on the roof...

Jim - yes the difference is if its in the trunk, no issue under emerg braking. On the roof you may have a 200lbs projectile.

Glad that is not my car. But I do not see how that piece of furniture would stay on the car - looks photoshopped to me.

The car's halo can hold the weight, no problem, but the load in that pic doesn't look all that well secured.
