Considering adding Lubegard premium and would like long term 1 year experience or more from those. I had a triple flush twice one with old spec fluid and a recent one with new spec fluid. I also had a tune with AFM disabled. Improvement after last flush and tune but still minor shudder.
I am sorry to report that I don't remember the specifics about this stuff. I bought two of their products. The first one, Lubegard 63010 Platinum Universal ATF Protectant, 10 oz. really did NOTHING. No improvement.
Then I dumped in the second product, Lubegard 19610 Instant Shudder Fixx, 2 oz. and there was indeed an improvment in the shifts in my A8. I would recommend trying this one instead of the first. I did not have the shudder myself so I cannot vouch for that. Read the above thread.
I would recommend a triple flush with the latest fluid and use a Range device instead.
[QUOTE=yellow2007;1602648751]You'll need the long tool that is oictured in that thread along with a syringe and tubing.
That was in November 2019 so over a year. The shudder has not returned
You were one of my want to hear from posters TY as you did a lot of time and effort and reporting of results. Doing the 20 ounce thing hopefully next week.
Another one here for Lubegard
After I saw that thread in 2019 I put in the Instant Shudder Fix, and shortly afterwards, 20 oz of the Platinum.
3,500 miles and still going strong, and one thing worth mentioning, is the shifts became tighter and stronger.
Also, I thought it was my imagination at first when it seemed like the car was pulling stronger when accelerating, but then others chimed in with the same results.
The amazing thing was, the Instant Shudder Fix worked as Advertised after 10 miles of driving.
Highly recommend it
Assume that you are out of warranty? Do I remember correctly that the next fix recommended by Chevy if the triple flush didn't work was torque converter replacement?

If you listen to your dealeer. Doning the LubeGard thing tomorrow as an under $30 try is a lot cheaper than a torque converter at $2500 plus installed for an aftermarket customized one.

Did the LubeGard 20oz platinum treatment after the triple flush. So far good results will say did not do the 2oz quick fix so taking longer to take full effect but every drive is better.
