Default windshield washer fluid

My fluid was empty so I went to auto zone to buy some they had a two for sale so I got two gallons. Got home and poured the entire galleon in and still was room It felt like a three stooges movie as I was looking under the car for a leak She took a gallon and 3/4 the other on. WOW!

Yeah, and I've heard the gas tank is even BIGGER! (sorry, my bad). I'm glad you had no leaks; and, that explains why I've never put more fluid in mine in three years.

Didn’t realize the tank was that large - should last a long time.

Not driving in the rain makes it last even longer.

I have never used the washer. 3 years and still have original fluid.
I have used the wipers less than 100 wipes.

With GM's so-called obsession with reducing mass, you'd think they would have used a single gallon washer capacity.
I'd be happy to have 10 lbs more soundproofing and refill my washer tank more often than once per year.

I poured what was left of the second gallon in my wife's cruze and it filled it up. 18+ gas tank 9+ quart oil and 1.75 gallon windshield washer. What's the capacity of the hydraulic and brake fluids? That amounts to approximately ... a lot or weight.

Factory original washer fluid should get you about $10 bonus on resale. I'm sure it did on the '05 I sold in '14.

For the fair weather drivers 1.75 gal is a one time fill, good for the life of the car.

Are we talking street corner ad hoc windshield cleaners?
