Default Bodywork Help

The Good news: have moved into a new house in the Sarasota FL area that has an air conditioned 3 car garage.
The Bad news: when backing my C7 into the garage for the first time, the tail end and rear fender scraped against the garage door frame. DRAT! What to do?

So, am seeking recommendations for “good” no, “great” body shop in the Sarasota area to help with a repair.
Can anyone help? Anyone...........?

Contact a local Corvette Club and ask them for a recommendation, they will know the best shop to take it.

Here’s the damage. Looks like mostly paint “scuffing” on right rear fender and “scrape” on bumper.
My big concerns are whether a repair or replacement of the fender and bumper will be needed. And of course the difficulty of accurate color matching paint to original “Daytona Sunset Orange Mettalic” (aka DSOM). Of course, cost of fix will hurt.

Again, anybody here have repair recommendations???

Good mobile body guy can fix that. Backed into an barrier with my truck. Guy came to my home and fixed it, He even had a paint mixer in his van to match the color. Look on Yelp under mobile auto body or scratch and dent repair.

@carjo

Neither panel will need to be replaced. Both are easily repairable. In the mean time, you can take some acetone and remove the latex house paint which will make it look better until you can schedule a repair. And no offense to the guy who suggested a mobile person, but I definitely would not go that way. Most of the mobile guys are good for quick spot repairs on a used car lot. It's not house paint, you can't just spot in an area and I wouldn't trust a guy to try and mask everything off and paint it in my driveway. The "proper" way to fix that is to remove the bumper, detrim everything, lights out, wing off, sand, prime, block, spray, new emblems and reassemble. As far as color match goes, that's up to the eye of the painter. Any journeyman painter should have no problem matching the color although the bumper will always been a shade different than the quarter panel (as it is in your pics)

I own a few body shops so if you have any questions, fire away.
Lastly, congrats on your place. Use to live in Sarasota myself off of Beeridge and I75
