I have a 2016 manual base corvette with 4.000 miles. Love it except for the following issues which I think are all related to a common problem. !) the engine stumbles/hesitates off idle when first given gas. 2) the motor has a air sucking noise when first given gas and 3) because of the engine hesitation when starting ,the hydraulic clutch becomes a guessing game, give it to much gas or stall or jerk is hard to adjust to, Any suggestions. Thank you.

Look into a Soler Throttle Body. That should correct your issue. Many here have had great results with it. Add the Throttle Controller if you want zip..

Time to take it in for service. That's not normal for a C7.

There is a thread in the Tech Section (as I recall) about an adjustment on the gas-pedal sensor or some such. I assure you from three years with my '18 that all M7s do NOT have the problem you are experiencing, nor do they need any of the aftermarket add-ons.

OP, not common from what I read and my experiences. Is your car pure stock? If so I would get to the root cause before throwing after market parts at it (with all due respect to after market fans).

I agree with others as not common, or not common with mine or other C7s I've driven.

Start with the basics. Plugs, Plug Wires, check for vacuum leaks and that the intake system is properly tightened.

2017 M7 here, had it since new in Sept 2016. Never had this issue and agree that the OP should take the car in for service before spending $$ on aftermarket parts and fixes.

Default Try Injector Cleaner

I am going to guess you don't use 'Injector Cleaner' once or twice a year.
I find it helps colds starts and the same on a friends Z06. Doesn't matter that it only has 4k miles, probably worse by having fuel sitting for long periods.
Try it. I like Lucas brand. Add a bottle at 3/4 fuel tank level, more concentrated. Maybe do the cleaning process twice.

Depending on how sensitive you are to the kinesthetics and sounds associated with the car, I experienced the same concerns and determined that
1) Starting the car from a stop resulted in more engine stoppages in six months than I experienced in decades of driving MT cars
2) A short "gasp" on throttle opening is normal and caused by the rush of air around the throttle plate on opening
3) The C7 has the worst dead zone for initial clutch engagement I have ever seen... In other posts I described it as mushy and indistinct.
I added the Soler TB and TC and the car is much better behaved, with only a minor remnant of its original misbehavior.
Getting a dealer check would be worth it for peace of mind and a known good starting point.
Assuming the results are negative, the Soler mods will address if not completely cure the gremlins...
