The AWE X pipe kicks in around 2500 rpm.It is easier than cat back.It is not a huge gain after stock. You want bigger gains.Do both.Biggest gains are with headers.
That is what my hear on vids. Many of them on youtube.
Many combo's.But live to hear obviously is best.
If you want it "a little" louder, I would put Corsa Sport Cat back on. As said before, changing just the X-pipe, won't give you what you want. Corsa Extreme will really get you noticed. I always replace the X-pipe when I upgrade my exhaust systems. I don't mix and match exhaust parts. Corsa mufflers get a Corsa X-pipe.
Ok. Looks like we are going with the borla attack axle back system part number 11863. Around $2,000. We live in Salem oregon, any good places to get it installed?
Xpipe makes a huge difference. In my opinion it is a larger impact than the exhaust. I’ve had several combinations (right now a Borla 60546 xpipe and a Borla ATAK exhaust).
if I was to do only one change, it would be an xpipe (Borla or AWE). The catback is awesome and does change the sound for the better, but volume comes more from the X.
Another question, what are afm valves, does my non npp exhaust have them? The borla axle back I want, says it comes with them, is this ok? Sorry if I seem dim witted, this is my first vette.

AFM = Active Fuel Management. It's a separate set of valves different from NPP. Activate when you go into econo mode. My 19 GS manual had NPP, but not AFM. All auto trans C7s should have them, but it may vary from year to year.
This is my stock exhaust (replaced it with Corsa Extremes and Corsa X-Pipe). The valves shown are the NPP valves. No AFM valves were on the stock system.

Would your axle back work on my 2018 non npp stingray? And are u interested in selling without the x pipe? As I said mine is an m7. By the way thanx to all who have answered me. I’m 75 and old school, so bare with me lol.
Borla Atak w/X Pipe is what I did. I like to crank it from a distance and watch as people look around. I didn't do the X Pipe at first but have just recently did it. Some said it wouldn't make a difference. Well it did...
Start with the X-pipe, brand doesn't really matter as they are all the same, just get a cat-less one. If afterwards you want it even louder, then look into mufflers.
For me a "little louder" is exactly what the X-pipe did, but I had the NPP muffler to start with.

All 2019 C7s had AFM and AFM exhaust valves. Didn't matter if you had auto or manual. Watch:
