Is the tire compressor an option or come with certain models or packages?

No C7 ever came with a compressor as far as I know. I carry a plug kit and can of Fix-a-Flat.

Keep an eye on that can of Fix-a-Flat. I knew someone who kept a can in an older Dodge that had a slight water leak. Can got rusty and eventually blew the rear quarter panel out.

Harbor Freight has a very nice small one for about $30 and it fits nicely in the rear storage bin.

None from the factory,but you can get a decent compressor that you can carry in the car from any auto parts store or a place like Walmart.
