I own a 2014 / Standard C7 / Auto 6 speed with 53,000 miles on the clock and I use the car every day. A few months ago I began to notice that, when accelerating in traffic I would feel a vibration coming from the engine when I hit 2,000 RPM. This vibration would only last for a short time as I traveled up the RPM range but it would return as the engines RPM dropped down to 2,000 again.>> I ran a few experiments and saw that this vibration occurred in both 4 and 8 cylinder modes. >> I then parked the car in the garage, place the transmission in Park and ran the RPM's up and down the range of 1000 to 2500 and yep the vibration was once again very apparent starting at 1,900 and ending at 2,100 RPM..
Have you ever experienced this? Does anyone have any idea as to what may be causing this? Should I drink more and worry less? . .
AS YOU CAN SEE I LAST POSTED THIS IN JANUARY, SORRY FOR NOT COMING BACK ANY SOONER WITH THE SOLUTION TO MY ISSUE.
TOOK THE CAR TO A DEALER WHO EMPLOYS A CERTIFIED CORVETTE TECH. A QUICK LOOK UNDER THE HOOD AND HE MADE THE DIAGANOSIS. MY HARMONIC BALANCER WAS THE CULPRIT. > WHAT ALLOWED / CAUSED THE BALANCER TO MOVE? WELL THE SERPINTINE BELT TENSIOINER USES A HYDRALIC CYLINDER TO EXERT PRESSURE ON THE BELT AND THE CYLINDER DEVELPOED A LEAK WHICH IN TURN SOFTENED THE SEALING RING ON THE BALANCER CAUSING IT TO SWELL WHICH IN TURN ALLOWED THE BALANCER TO MOVE AND VIBRATE.
THE REPAIR, TWO WEEKS LATER DUE TO PARTS DELIVER ISSUE, INCLUED THE INSTALLATION OF A NEW BALANCER, TENSIONER, SEAL AND BELT.
ALL IS WELL >>

Air filter was checked and looks good about 3K miles ago, Will check Plug wires but not expecting a problem as no engine work except oil changes, no SES lights
Thanks for your note, looks like I have some work to do >>
