Thanks fellas I appreciate all of your advice and agree there’s plenty of other low mileage Vettes out there with clean titles I’ve decided to walk away and look for better opportunities thanks again for all of your good advice it’s greatly appreciated.

No trouble at all.. You can't get a bank loan on a car with rebuilt title

It can be done. I've had two vehicles with salvage titles....both fully insured and financed with no issues.

Even if there never was a problem when you sell it the buyers are very limited. Personally I would never buy one.

Dont do it. 1st off they are asking too much, 2nd you really dont know if the car was fixed correctly. When you go to resell, it might be difficult and the value will be tremendously diminished.
You said your paying cash, you can do much better than a salvaged title car.

If you don’t care about throwing 60k in the trash, do it.

Glad you walked. Because of how Corvettes are built, I wouldn't want a salvage. Of course anything can be fixed, but how many body shops are qualified to do a Corvette correctly?

Just say "No." Too many others out there. It ended up with that title for a reason.

Salvage title means it was severely wrecked beyond what it was worth to repair + the salvage.
I would run away from this car fast as i could run

Thanks in advance for your advice. Just FYI I’m not going to finance this purchase I plan to pay cash.
Some states will not allow you to title a vehicle with a salvage title

There are WAY too many garage queens out there to pay 60k for a car with a salvage title

Actually I believe it's the shortage of garage queens which make people even consider a car like this for $60k. It's a sign of the bubble times.

I wouldn’t buy it, no way no how. The car was deemed a total loss for a reason. It should’ve become a parts car. It’s value 5 years later will be much worse. I don’t care who inspects it you can’t see behind panels to see what butchery has taken place.

As others have said to much for salvage.
A friend bought a rebuilt 2017 Z06 3LZ with 7000 miles for $40,000 last year.
