Thanks fellas I appreciate all of your advice and agree there’s plenty of other low mileage Vettes out there with clean titles I’ve decided to walk away and look for better opportunities thanks again for all of your good advice it’s greatly appreciated.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that getting full coverage insurance on a salvage (or rebuilt) title car is difficult too. Insurance companies have a hard time with the value of the vehicle once it has already been "totaled".
No trouble at all.. You can't get a bank loan on a car with rebuilt title
Dont do it. 1st off they are asking too much, 2nd you really dont know if the car was fixed correctly. When you go to resell, it might be difficult and the value will be tremendously diminished.
You said your paying cash, you can do much better than a salvaged title car.

That is smart, keep looking you will find the Vette you want ...
Glad you walked. Because of how Corvettes are built, I wouldn't want a salvage. Of course anything can be fixed, but how many body shops are qualified to do a Corvette correctly?

Best move you could have made! Keep searching and you find what you're looking for! Good Luck!
Good morning gentlemen I have a question and was hoping you could provide me with some good advice I’ve been thinking about purchasing a 2019 Grand Sport Corvette it has 4K miles the seller is asking 60K. The car has a salvage title due to being in a wreck however the car has been professionally repaired and has passed all state inspections, the car looks and drives perfectly should I move forward with an offer or walk away and if so what do you think is a fair price to offer the seller since the car has been in a wreck and has a salvage title? Thanks in advance for your advice. Just FYI I’m not going to finance this purchase I plan to pay cash.
Some states will not allow you to title a vehicle with a salvage title
I wouldn’t buy it, no way no how. The car was deemed a total loss for a reason. It should’ve become a parts car. It’s value 5 years later will be much worse. I don’t care who inspects it you can’t see behind panels to see what butchery has taken place.
