Driving today and randomly heard a skip from my audio (like the same we'd hear from a CD player) which is odd because obviously- songs dont skip anymore. But, after the skipping the audio came back but with a static/pop. Not insanely bad but definitely audible enough to want to fix it. Im getting the issues from what it seems like all the front speakers, so I'm thinking it is a electrical connection issue somewhere.
Just seeing if anyone else has seen/had this issue before that could point me in the right direction before I start tearing apart the doors. Thank you!
Sounds like a problem in the Bose amplifier. This amp contains the DSP digital sound processor, the digital-to-analog converters, and the audio amplifiers.
This Bose processor/amp is located under the rear cargo floor cover. The left silver metal box with the diagonal fins.
