Ran 2 sets of Pilot super sports for 38 k miles. Amazing tires even towards the end of their life. Got a set of as3+ zp does not hook up even when new like the mpss. But hopefully the last longer. It’s a trade off. I drive a lot so I went with the as3+. If it was just my toy and weekend ride I would probably put cup2 or mpss
Sorry. Meant to post this in the C5 forum. I need tires for the 04'. 265/40/18 for the fronts and 275/35/18's for the rears.I love the grip of the Michelins on my 19' Z51. I was wondering if I can get similar Michelins for my modified 04'.
My 2019 GS A8 is my daily driver and I'm not a track guy so I took off the OEM Michelin super sports and replaced them with Michelin Sport AS 3+ Zips.I also had the alignment and camber set for regular street driving They run smoother quieter and last longer. I see really no difference with traction and performance. I have driven in light snow and rain and they perform great.
What has your experience been with these tires? grip? treadwear?
I have over 1500 mostly local Brooklyn streets miles on my Micheline sport A/S 3+'s and the wear is unnoticeable. My GS is not a hangar queen and driven daily. While I have become victim of the dreaded Grand Sport rim failure syndrome, these tires perform very well. no need to heat them up to 40 degrees or worry about driving in rain or light snow (yes I drive my baby in light snow).
I've heard that Micheline has upgraded these tires to a "4A/s+" now so if one was to apply logic (not always a good thing) they are even a better tire.
I get 30K with the OEM tires.... had 97K on my '15 when I traded it for my '19 - been driving Corvettes for 31 years... of course, I put a lot of highway miles on my cars by taking long trips... I'll be 80 in 3 months - not getting out with traffic roaring by, muddy, rainy.... etc.... to pump up or wait for a tow truck.... RF's for me all the way.....
I agree with EdSpec. I like the AS3+ also. They allow for a more relaxing drive. They do not track the road imperfections which use to cause me to always drive with 2 hands on the steering wheel.

I’m running these on a Z06. They are not too bad, but they don’t grip the best. They might be ok for a Stingray or Grand Sport, but I think they come up short trying to manage the power of the Z06. I will be going with the Michelins once I wear the Bridgestones out.
