Tire experience
I've been eyeing what I want to do for tires on my 2016 C7 Z51. This is a build car that I've been adding power to and will continue to do so. Primary purposes are spirited driving, canyon and mountain runs, highway pulls, etc. I live in SoCal so not worried about rain whatsoever.
OEM size for the Z51 are
245/35r19 and 285/30r20
There are quite a few restrictions based on size availability, I'm looking at the Yokohoma Advan V601 or Continental Extreme Contact. Sizing would be:
265/35r19 (+0.5" diameter, +0.8" width, +0.3" sidewall, +0.7" Circumference)
305/30r20 (+(0.5" diameter, +0.8" width, +1.2" sidewall, +1.5" circumference)
Any suggestions between these two tires and the size selection? Looking to size the rear width up a bit while keeping the computer happy.
