I got a set at Discount Tire. They installed them while I watched. The installer was a car guy and insisted that I stand right by him while he put them on. I have had them a couple years. No complaints. Pic shows them along with the LED side marker lights that I installed.

This what I ordered from Amazon for my C7 (sorry could not get the link to Amazon to work for these):

McGard 84538 Black (M12 x 1.5 Thread Size) Bulge Style Cone Seat Wheel Installation Kit for 5-Lug Wheels

And since I did not want the locks, I ordered 4 more regular:
McGard black, M12 x 1.5 bulge style cone seats, 4 lug nuts McGard black, M12 x 1.5 bulge style cone seats, 4 lug nuts

Do you still need to protect the lug nuts when using a socket like with the OEM ones? Or are the McGard tougher?

Thanks that's enough reason right there. I'm going to buy a set of non-locking pretty soon here. Too bad they're actually more expensive than the locking.
