$4,720, not too bad. I sure am glad I have a 14 and just a Z51 Stingray. Widebodies and their wheels are an embarassment to GM.

To feel embarrassment, one needs a sense of shame. Today's top brass of The General lacks that particular sense. They're too busy appeasing and slobbering on the hind quarters of everyone except their loyal customers.
As for your Z51 comment, had one for over 3 years and absolutely loved it. But please don't let a set of rims stand between you and a Z06. It's everything you love about your Z51, turned up to 11.
As a recovering Chevy fanboy, GM’s handling of this wheel scandal pushed me over the edge. Just criminal. Many of the forum’s members are old enough to remember when GM was King Biggie — the work’s largest corporation for over 70 years. Man, they managed to **** that away; it seems the only thing they’re known for now is Chevy Truck Month. GM brags about going all electric in the not-too-distant future. They have a perfectly viable EV, the Bolt, right now that they don’t promote at all. Maybe they’re gonna sell blenders and vibrators. — all with excessive orange peel, of course.
I have not been on the forum for a while. Was researching a used C7 and this is all news to me. So factor in at some
point a large sum for new wheels I guess if you decide to buy one these.

If you’re looking for a widebody (GS/Z06), then likely. That said, my 19, and two close friends of mine, one with a 17 GS, one with a 17 Z06, do not have any issues with the wheels. And we all live in a state with horrible roads. Also, as I mentioned earlier, for a couple thousand you can get flow forged wheels. I’ve had 2 sets of those on 2 cars for years on our horrible roads, never an issue. If you want to spend $4-15k on fully forged, then that’s a choice. Some opinions may vary on the flow forge, but I’m sharing my personal experience.

I’m sorry you guys are having problems with your wheels. I’m awaiting the arrival of after-market wheels for a 2017 Stingray so I can have all-season run-flats. The wheels will be $1,200 for the set, and now I don’t feel bad about that after hearing how much you’re paying for your wheels. You surely don’t leave your GS unattended out in public or else you’ve got premium locking lug nuts.
The wheel bending / cracking problem on the GS / Z06 and even the ZR-1 wheels is WELL KNOWN on this Forum...
Bottom Line is GM Cheaped out and went with cast wheels and very low profile - run flat rubber (which does an exceptional job of transferring shock loading from road imperfections to the wheel).
You have a couple of options (in order of cost):
1) Get another factory type wheel (thru GM or an alternate source) and expect to have the same problem again.
2) Go with an aftermarket Rotary Formed (Flow Formed) wheel
3) Go with an aftermarket Fully Forged wheel
I won't tell you what to do - I will tell you - I went with Option 3.
