I've got the GM OEM GS cover and like it a lot. Fits just right, has a very soft flannel under liner that won't scratch C7's finish and comes with an nice "Corvette" embroidered storage bag for when it's not in use. Can't see below but cover has the 'GrandSport' emblem subtly imprinted all over.
Ultra guard indoor cover from WCC. Spanks-like stretchy material that fits over my Stage 3 aero with felt interior lining. I had one for my C5 vert and liked it so much, I bought one for my C7Z.
I picked up a 2017 Z06 and need a car cover that will keep the dust out and not scratch.
Any advice would be most appreciated.
Cheers!
I use Covercraft covers on my cars.
For indoors, I have the FormFit cover. Fits great even with the Stage 3 Aero.
Although I rarely park the Corvette outside, I also have the Covercraft WeatherShield HP cover if I do park outside for any length of time. It also fits the car very well.
I have had three different manufacturers covers on my two C6's and my C7. I finally listened to my detailer and ordered a California Car Cover unit. All the money I spent before was wasted. The CCC cover is better in every way. I park outdoors. The rain puddles on the cover but doesn't go through. It's machine washable. It fits better. It's less than 1/2 the weight of the other covers. There's no area of performance where it does not excel. All my previous covers got polluted with pollen which I could never wash out. The CCC didn't do that.
You can get cheaper covers. There are more elaborate ones. This one WORKS.
PS: I gave away the other covers except for one which I'll keep for "emergencies". Like a warm, clear day when I'm laundering the CCC cover.
Agreed....I have a California Cover....now using it on my second C7 (covering use for over 5 years) .....EXCELLENT for outdoor storage! Very reasonable price too. Cheaper than a new 65K garage!!!
