Yes, slow air leak is a good tip-off. You don't generally hear of many examples where wheels are cracked/bent enough to cause detectable vibration. Most seem to be discovered by shop changing tires.
You can check for cracks successfully by looking up into barrels from underneath C7 with a good flashlight.
Keep in mind that examples of cracked/bent GS/Z06 wheels are greatly exaggerated on forums as everyone comes to report/whine/complain about such however few to state they haven't had bent wheels. Much the same scenario as with A8 transmission shudder.

Slowly losing air and it's always on the inside so you have to take the rim in question off and look.
When I saw 26 psi on the tire pressure reading I knew I had joined the club. I did have the textbook crack on the inner lip but could see it from just laying on the ground.
(Wheel was rotated to where crack was at bottom)
Vibration is often a bent wheel but not cracked but the bend eventually leads to a crack.

FWIW...I test drove a 2019 GS with 3,600 miles that drove like crap (terrible vibrations). Upon further inspection, the selling dealer confirmed that both wheels on the drivers side were bent. They also showed me the video of what the wheels looked like while rotating (on the lift). After the dealer agreed to replace both wheels with new...I bought the car. My point to the OP...when the wheel is bent, you CAN feel it, but without further analysis it’s hard to tell if it’s a balance issue, flat spot on the tires, etc.
I had 2 cracked wheels on my '17 GS. Neither wheel was bent. I just replace the wheels and now no longer worry every time I go over a bump in the road.

I stated in my above post "You don't generally hear of many examples where wheels are cracked/bent enough to cause detectable vibration"; I didn't state that you never do.

If you replaced GM Garbage with GM Crap wheels your only patching to get driving again.Waste of money and sanity going on a trip.
I'd be worried.Good Luck. You have my Blessing on this Easter Morning

Where did I state that you said or implied they never bent? I was simply adding to your response (the OP asked about cracked wheels). Your answer addressed cracked and bent. I provided additional info with respect to “bent” wheels because the OEM wheels DO crack and bend and the OP should be aware of that.

I should have been more specific. I replaced all four wheels with rotary forged wheels from Cray.

FWIW, in 2019 I discovered that I had three bent and one cracked wheel. I ordered A/S 3+ tires and replaced the wheels with OEM wheels (). I've driven to FL from NJ and back six times and everything is still intact. Granted, the the highways and Florida roads are better places to drive than New Jersey but it's still disturbing that GM has not rectified the problem. I'll be selling my 17 GS shortly since I have an order with Kerbeck for a C8.
I was loosing air in three tires constantly so I had my tire guy here in Brooklyn take my tires off and inspect the rime. Come to find out that the left rear was cracked and the two right tires were bent. By the way, I don't think it's whining when prople on this forum complain about the quality of the low rent molded wheels GM puts on my 2019 GS daily driver. Maybe it's me but my 2019 GS A8 seems to run smoother with a set of new forged mono-block wheels.
I had 2 cracked rear and one bent front. The bent front wheel I found out about when replacing the front tires. After reading about cracked wheels here on CF, I inspected the wheels and found the 2 rears cracked on the inside rims of the barrels. I had no leaks or vibrations. Replaced with monoblock forged.
