Unpair and delete the phone from the car and start over... It usually helps.

That's how my problems started. Then it stopped connecting entirely. Turned out to be the USB cable. Try replacing it with a Samsung or high quality replacement cable.

Just an FYI .... I saw on Google that when your phone charge hits 100% while its connected it shuts off and they have yet to fix the glitch.

That may happen for some but my old Samsung S7 has no problem in my 19 Stingray.

I have the S21 Ultra and had the same issue. I switched over to a new cable (I was using the samsung cable previously) and that has seemed to fix the issue.

I just had mine updated to get Android Auto added but the dealership took like a week to research it before I was able to schedule the appointment. Probably just a knowledge gap.

Have you had any issues with the Galaxy S21 in the Vette? I'm thinking of upgrading to the S21. BTW, my Galaxy S8 does the same thing: gets hot and shuts down if I leave it in the console.

I've had no problems with my S21 while driving, but I've never left it inside the console. I usually tuck it between the passenger seat and the console.

X2 on the USB cable. A good quality cable should fix it. I've had the same issue and its usually the connectors that get worn and loose.

I own a 2016 Stingray and it does the same thing, but only when I have the Map and Music/Podcast playing at the same time,.... Try exiting the Maps page or try Maps without music. It doesn't seem to handle more than one task at A time. I'm not convinced it's an Android Auto issue,....because I have a 2019 RAM pickup and AA functions flawlessly in it.

It's an issue Samsung is aware of and should be fixing with Septembers update. My wife's S21 does the same thing sometimes it works fine others times it gets wonky.
