So I know they probably have already had discussions on this topic but I can't seem to find it.
Anyway I want to gain performance on my stock 19gs m7. I was looking at the prochargers because it's more of a bolt on than a typical supercharger that would come on a zo6. I know the pro charger can work on a stock lt1 engine and not have to really mess with the engine at all besides park plugs.
Has anyone ever put a procharger on their vettes? If so who did you use? I know they have a&a, ecs, and procharger. I also live in south Florida and have been looking at places that install them and will tune them if you want to go that route. The problem is I see a lot of mixed review about these shops. I'm also mechanically inclined and can put it on myself I just want to have it tuned. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Hello, It might be better in Tech, Performance section but anyway. I have Redline Motor Sports to install Edelblock SC last year on my 14 Z51 6AT. Quite happy with the work Howard had done. They are located in Pompano Beach, FL. I am in Tampa, FL. I drove 250 miles but worth the effort. When it's done it came back like this pic.

We have a lot of experience with all the manufactures named as well as forced induction. Really comes down to final goals with car. We typically recommend a D1-SC on all LT1 based Corvettes for most applications. If you have plans to build the car for power beyond the stock engines limits, we would recommend. Other factors will be fuel system in which we recommend at least the LT4 injectors and HP pump. Methanol would be an additional add on for further power. Please let us know if we can be of assistance with your build plans!

hey thanks. I know exactly where you are talking. I'm in Fort Lauderdale. I have done a lot of research on them. Thanks for you advice. I'll check out the tech section as well
Redline have been working on my Procharged C7 over the years. Great shop that are capable of any build you might want. Howard the owner knows how to correctly tune the LT motors so you don’t have to send your car out to another place to get tuned.
I like my procharger p1X and it passes smog easily in California(few days ago). 588wrhp and can be put back easily if needed.
I think what gets people is the hp bug. They change the stock procharger tune which is safe but can early get more hp out.. then they want more and lower the pully, or upgrade to even bigger unit..lol Just be careful and figure out how much HP you want and built it up to that.
I am happy with the procharget on my 16 Z51 but still can't get rid of the exhaust smell coming into the car. If I leave the air on recirculate things are ok but there should be a solution.
