Recently purchased a 2019 Grand Sport and the air conditioning system intermittently blows warm air instead of cold air. It is more noticeable after having stopped for a few minutes and then taking off from a start. While it is parked, it is blowing cold air but once I take off it blows warm air for 20-30 seconds. Has anybody else experienced this issue?
I have taken it back to the dealership two different times and they keep replacing the expansion valve and that still doesn’t solve the problem.
This is generally a symptom of a low refrigerant charge, but you would have a warning message and the dealer undoubtedly checked with gauges.
So, I would suspect one of the temperature sensors is intermittent. There is an evaporator temp sensor and four duct temperature sensors. These can easily be checked with a scan tool that is able to read HVAC Control Module data.
BTW, do the passenger and driver side both lose cooling?

Thanks for the info.
amd yessir, both sides lose cooling.
I had a different vehicle where the AC blew warm air every time I gave it gas, whether parked or not. When I took my foot off the gas the air turned cold. Turned out to be vacuum leak from a vacuum hose.
