Default Painted winglets

I’ve searched the forum but couldn’t come up with what I was looking for. Has anyone painted the winglets to match body color? Or maybe seen it done?! I’m thinking about adding some to my z51 spoiler, instead of carbon flash I thought it might look good to match the body color for a different look.

I have not done it but the thought of doing so did cross my mind at one point. However, I ended up installing a Z06 Stage 2 spoiler with the spoiler and winglets painted carbon flash - they were installed on my torch red car. I felt that painting the winglets red would just blend in too much with the red exterior and the black really gives it a nice contrast with the rest of the carbon flash painted pieces on the car.

This is the only picture I can find with body color painted winglets. To me it looks good, it’s different and not something you see everyday.

I think the painted winglets would look better with chrome or the standard wheels as the carbon flash winglets look best with black wheels.

Have not seen any live examples but the picture you posted looks pretty good.

I look at that picture and it makes me think certain colours it would look great, others not so much. I prefer the spoiler in CF, but that picture it doesn't look bad body colour. When I picture that car being white I feel it would just make the rear look clustered

The stock spoiler on the C6 was black. I hated it and replaced with a body colored spoiler and loved it. They were small and looked almost imbedded in the car. The C7 spoilers look like an add on item already. So accent color looks better to me.
